Lester
was Linn and Ada's 2nd child. After his mother Ada died and his father
had
remarried
they moved
to the Grand Rapids area and then to Sparta. It was here that
Lester
started working
for the Carnation Milk Company which turned out to be
a life
long job.
About 1928, he married Ileath
Lillian Bird who worked in Carnation's
office
area, the
daughter of Franklin Everett and Carrie Maude (Kershner) Bird.
