LaVerne received this from Grandma Sheckler around 1960 when he found it in
the attic while cleaning it out to sell the house.  Two of the string tension screws
have been broken off but have not been lost.

I do not remember him playing the Banjo. Grandpa did play the Guitar quite a bit,
especially before TV came into being. He played the "BONES" too.  His son Linn Jr.
has them now and can play them too.
