Hazel's
father had
been a photographer and she played the organ and sang
in her
father's
travelling tent show which he used to showcase his photographs.
Hazel
1st married
Jesse Ouderkirk. they had two children. James and Rita. Hazel lost
these
two children
to Ouderkirk when she remarried. Jesse then married Lena Meyers
and
they had a son
Ron. James was born 9 Feb. 1929. Rita now lives in Illinois.
A son
of James,
Rick, in Jan of 2002 brought some of these facts to light.

on September
18, 1932 she married Ralph Nobel Chase, son of Guy and
VaLona
(Nobel)
Chase,
in the First Congregational Church, Traverse City, Michigan
Ralph
was a salesman
and retired as a real estate broker SSN 379-01-6216.
After
retirement
they moved to Alpina.
They
had two children
Phillip Ralph and Anita Marie.
Ralph
died November
1976 in Wickenburg, Arizona.
Hazel
resided in
Lake Havasu City,Arizona 2 years before she died at the Kingman
Health
Care Center
in Kingman, Arizona. Her SSN 384-34-7373
She
was cremation
at the Tucker Funeral Home in Kingman.
